After
30 years of operation, MovieWorld shut its doors in April 2008.
After some time the Kramars Theatre Corp. took on the renovation
project of this community landmark. Renovations began and in a
short time the theater now boasts new seating, carpets and a New
York style cafe serving pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chicken club
sandwiches and the very best Italian ices, gelato, ice cream,
cheese cakes and more. MovieWorld features seven screens with
all new true surround sound. Keeping the values this community
was accustomed to, the new owners created a community-minded,
family-friendly atmosphere. There are various weekly specials.
Monday is ladies’ day where all ladies pay only $4.50 for
all shows all day long. Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday where patrons
pay only $5 for a show all day long. Friday and Saturday movie
viewers, with purchase of regular ticket, receive an Italian ice
or cappuccino for only $1 (all promotions exclude holidays and
Sony pictures). At MovieWorld there are bargains like the matinee
showing for only $6 or senior’s tickets (65 +) and kid’s
tickets (ages 2-11) for $6.50 all day, every day. For a truly
unique theater experience, great service and the very best time,
come check out MovieWorld— you will be glad you did.
