Imagine the delight of your birthday child and friends as they celebrate that special day by holding, petting and feeding all the gentle farm animals. Benner’s Farm dates back to the mid-1700s and as the children explore the farm, gardens, fields and woods, they hear stories of the farm’s history and how people lived on Long Island before cars, malls and electricity. Presented at age and interest level of the children, there are all kinds of new things to explore from tractors and tools to vegetables and herbs, sheering sheep, collecting eggs from the hens, or swinging from a 300-year-old oak tree. All parties include a hands-on activity designed for your child’s age as a party favor to be bought home. Seasonal projects like pumpkin decorating in the fall or seed planting in the spring are available and a helium balloon is provided for each child. The basic party is 1½-hours long and package includes birthday child and up to 12 guests (extra guests, additional). Hay wagon rides pulled by a tractor are included in the two hour (extended) party and the last 20-30 minutes of each party are for refreshments of your choosing. Parties are weather permitting. Canopies are available, rescheduling or cancellation are options in inclement weather. Parties are designed for children 3 and up.
